Established in 1998, The Sanderson Group is headed by Robin Sanderson,
who has a proven track record of success in strategic marketing, sales,
new business development, corporate communications, new product launches
and general management.
Prior
to forming The Sanderson Group, Robin was the Executive Vice President
of MarketSource Corporation with responsibility for general management
and strategic direction of MarketSource's college and teen marketing
divisions, sampling, event marketing and consumer promotion businesses
and the company's Canadian subsidiary. In her fourteen-year tenure,
she directed sales, marketing and operations of all businesses resulting
in dramatic company growth through new product introduction and
development of the business based upon client's needs. She also
was responsible for corporate communications including advertising,
public relations, direct mail, and development of sales support
materials.
Robin
has worked extensively with Fortune 500 clients and their agencies.
For companies targeting the college and teen markets, Robin created
integrated marketing programs designed to increase awareness, usage
and purchase of their products in the health and beauty aids, technology,
publishing and services categories. She developed and managed marketing
programs for credit card and telecommunications companies including
creation of dedicated field forces and events to increase customer
acquisition on college campuses, in shopping malls, in airports,
and through a variety of other venues.
In
the prior seven years, Robin held product management, merchandising,
new product development, financial analysis and auditing positions
at Colgate Palmolive, Avon Products, Inc. and Hurdman & Cranstoun.
Robin holds a BSBA degree in Accounting from Bucknell University and an MBA in Marketing from Fordham University. She is an active member of Networking for Professionals and has served on the Advisory Board and as a facilitator of Network Plus. She is an American Marketing Association member and has served on the Board of Directors of the NJ American Marketing Association for several years. Robin was elected Vice President of Membership for two terms during which time she increased membership and the member retention rate. She also has done volunteer work for the East Brunswick Education Foundation where she served as Chairwoman of the Communications Committee and fundraising events.
